The first time you run Desktop there will already be a default connection set up, so you can simply enter your login and password to connect. If you are using several connections or want to be able to quickly switch between accounts, you can create a new one.

To create a new connection:

1. Click the 'Set up Connections' button on the login form.

Set up Connection button

2. Add new connections to the list.

3. Fill out the connection details and click OK to save the connection.

  • Host name - host name of the Terminal Server. You will need to get this information from your broker.
  • Name - choose a title for the connection you would like to use.
  • Secure - check this option if your connection requires secure protocol.
  • Test - check this button to make sure that you have entered your Host name correctly and that it's reachable with your current internet (proxy) settings.
  • Use separate quotes server - this function is used to optimize the platform for low-bandwith connections.
